Session Details
We are SO excited to work with you!  Here are a few details and tips to help us have a fun session:

-Please allow around 4 weeks to edit and upload your photos.
-We may have to walk to your location, so wear appropriate shoes (you're more than welcome to bring cute shoes to change into).
-Our mountain weather can get brisk, so dress in layers (especially children).  Feel free to bring coats, blankets, hot cocoa, or whatever else you'd like.
-Props are welcome. Please contact us if you are bringing props or want to use some of ours.
-A Forest Adventure Pass is required to park at our Lake location and can be purchased at the Discovery Center or at most gas stations.
-We have a model release in our contract but know some clients may not be able to have their photos online. We value our clients' safety over advertising, so please inform us if you have a person that cannot have their photo online and we will not post them in public forums. 
Photographing Young Children
Kids are so fun!  In fact, capturing the joy and wonder of a child is one of the best parts of our job:)  Kiddos, however, sometimes can require a little more planning to ensure a successful shoot.  If you have little ones under four years old, here are a few tips:
-Make sure they have a good nap!  Sleep is vital to a happy kiddo and a smooth session.
-Schedule the session around their happiest time of day.  The lighting might not be perfect, BUT it's a small price to pay for a genuine smile.  Plus, we're trained and ready to create great light if Mother Nature doesn't provide it for us:)
-Make sure they're fed right before the session and bring snacks to the shoot.  
-BRIBES!  We're big proponents for bribes:) Bring a yummy treat, a new toy, or the promise of something good to come (you may, however, want to stay away from food that can color their mouthes). It can help if your little has a rough moment. 
Photographing Pets
At OKeefe Photography, we know your four-legged family is important. If you choose to have them as a part of your family portrait, please make sure of the following:

-Dogs must be on a leash for the session.  We are happy to creatively hide leashes the best we can, but we will be in  public areas where leashes are required. 
-Bring treats and water.  
-If photographer feels threatened, we reserve the right to not allow pet at session. 
Contract
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your session, please cancel at least 48 hours before your session. We don't charge a cancellation fee if cancelled at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Please inform us via email or text. info@okeefephoto.com or 909-996-0929

If, in the opinion of the photographer, inclement weather or other adverse conditions prevent the creation of a portrait meeting the artistic standards of the studio/photographer, photographer may elect to use an alternate location or to reschedule the portrait.

Model Release: OKeefe Photography reserves the right to use images created under this contract for advertising, publication or other purposes. The Client signing this contract warrants that he or she has actual authority to agree to the use of the likeness of all persons included in the portrait in this manner and shall indemnify and defend OKeefe Photography in the event of litigation arising out of such use. Negatives, digital files and previews remain the exclusive property of OKeefe Photography.

If OKeefe Photography cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return any deposit or sitting fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event the Studio/Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Studio/Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid.

Client is aware that color dyes in photography may fade or discolor over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes, and Client releases Photographer from any liability for any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discoloration due to such inherent qualities.

The charges in this Contract are based on the Studio’s/Photographer’s Standard Price List. This price list is adjusted periodically and future orders shall be charged at the prices in effect at the time when the order is placed.

No part of any order, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.
